Film Field Trip to see "W" with Chinese food excursion.

On Tuesday we will be heading to Five Ways AMC Cinema to watch the new film 'W' about George Bush. 
Before watching the film at 8.50pm we will be having some Chinese food at the all you can eat restaurant
opposite the cinema. Dinner buffet costs £10.50 at the Dragon BBQ restaurant.  RSVP FOR DINNER IS
ESSENTIAL. Meet outside the restaurant at 6.30pm

Black and Ethnic Minority Caucus

The club has an unfilled position on its committee. this is for the 'black and ethnic minority officer'.
Anyone who classes themselves as an ethnic minority can take up the position.
There is a special election for this post. All the ethnic minority students elect the position in a caucus.
This will involve all of us having a chat and a get-together first. After the socialising we will get down
to the dirty business of electing the person for the post.

In december we will be having a Christmas quiz.  Non-members and members are both welcome.  The
cost to enter a team, of no more than four will be £5 for non-members and £4 for members.  Prizes include,
so far, Gordon Brown's book on courage signed by the Prime Minister, bottle of wine, and chocolates! 
One place will also be up for grabs at either Reading Festival or Glastonbury Festival.  The Labour Club
sent 9 people to each over the summer to work behind the bar and raise money for us, in return we got
free entry to the festival to see all the bands we wanted!  Email the committee to give your ideas for more
prizes!
